The Pine Bluff Festival Association and the Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation Department teamed up with Blues for a Cause to produce Red, White, and Blues, a three-band blues concert, capped off with a spectacular fireworks display July 4, 2012 in the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Regional Park in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
The headliner was Hadden Sayers, a 2012 Blues Music Awards Nominee for Song of the Year. The other two bands were The Saints of Yesterday, and the Brian Austin Blues Band. The bands all turned in first class performances. Between the Brian Austin Blues Band and the Saints of Yesterday, a thunderstorm raged through the park. After the storm blew over, the crowds returned while the crew dried every thing out and prepared for the show to go on. In most of the closeups, you can see sweat beads on the performers — after all, it is the blues — a genre noted for a bit of perspiration.
