Winter reveals all
Mother Nature goes au naturel in colder months. She's showing us what she was demurely hiding with leaves and shade a few months back. The gallery will start and advance on its own or you may work it with the controls below. See the stories that go with these pictures at Weekly Grist for the Eyes and Mind, and Corndancer dot-com.

- We see detail on this old barn which was not visible a few moths ago due to leaves and shade. The barn is near Wright, Arkansas and is a barely surviving remnant of a "New Deal," program administered by the "Resettlement Administration." The program had lofty goals but was a dismal failure.
- A second view of the barn.
- The barn up close and personal.
- An intermittent waterfall site east of Long Pool Recreation area on Big Piney Creek north of Dover AR. The details you see in these pictures would be difficult to achieve under the exposure conditions imposed by the light/shade conditions in spring and summer months. The next four pictures are different views of the falls site.
- This is a familiar site to visitors approaching the Long Pool Recreation area on Big Pine Creek north of Dover, Arkansas/
- You will not see this spectacular view of these trees in warmer months.
